Local Bars, Restaurants Want Your Inauguration Money
Inauguration Day fever heats up! Several local eating and drinking establishments offer to facilitate your festivities. The Hudson River Club will have "TVs on every floor" and Adam Clayton Powell IV will host the luncheon. Williamsburg's Glasslands wants you to come in on Sunday for their "Obama Presidential Inauguration Celebration and MLK Jr. National Monument Fundraiser" (promotional art shown here), and will give you a "Complimentary Colt 45" from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. And Peaches Market in Bed-Stuy offers "two back-to-back brunches for MLK and Obama" on the 19th and the 20th, black tie, $60 including wine so don't expect to pay in "change," ha ha, think of it as stimulus spending, ha, okay sorry.
