Martha Coakley-Scott Brown Race May Turn on Shoving Incident
Here's video that shows Weekly Standard reporter John McCormack being muscled by a Democratic staffer as he tries to ask questions of Senatorial candidate Martha Coakley, who faces a special election next week in Massachusetts. The staffer, Michael Meehan, admits he was "a little too aggressive" with McCormack, who is seen falling to the ground at one point, though his assailant obligingly helps him back up; Coakley blames the incident on Republican "stalkers." This is the breakthrough in the very tight race opponent Scott Brown has been waiting for! "This photo may change the election," declares Legal Insurrection.
McCormack famously questioned New York congressional candidate Dede Scozzafava in a parking lot last year with sufficient aggressiveness that she called the cops on him.
