Meanwhile Back in NY-20: Murphy Up by 8, At the Moment

Wednesday they started counting absentee ballots in the Tedisco-Murphy race. Yesterday morning Tedisco had a 68 vote lead. Now Murphy has an eight vote lead. Like us, conservatives assumed the overseas ballots, many of which are from military bases, would break Tedisco's way, but that hasn't been the case so far. By prior ruling, the overseas ballots have till April 13 to arrive, but as dozens of ballots have been contested and set aside, look for whoever loses on Monday to take the election to court. For purposes of comparison, the Franken-Coleman Senatorial race has been in the courts for five months.
