Media Moves: Anti-Hipster Christian Lorentzen to The New York Observer
A new hire at The New York Observer shortly after a new "this isn't working out." It happens!
Fresh off the heels of The New York Observer's separation with New York Brosever kegmeister and web editor Tyler Thoreson, we hear the pinkly (pink + weekly) newspaper has brought on the decidedly anti-hipster eugenics advocate (former) Harper's senior editor Christian Lorentzen as a senior editor there. Thoreson's old position, however, remains to be filled.
Though Lorentzen is not a hipster, he does not appear to be aligned with the Broserver contingent, either. The question of where he sits on the issue of Status Galleys or Social Zoology remains to be seen.
