As we sat waiting in the 14th Street station to take the 2 train to a Super Bowl party in Brooklyn, we spotted nine rats during a 12 minute wait. Three of these individuals were playing a game known as "rat race," in which they chase each other back and forth over the express rails, oblivious of the electrified third rail.
Further reports on the whereabouts and circumstances of the city's most populous mammal to follow.
