Missing Model Ataui Deng Found Alive at New York City Hospital
Ataui Deng, the Sudanese model missing since Wednesday, August 6, was found alive at a New York City Hospital on Monday evening. She was missing for twelve days.
Celebrity chef Roblé Ali--Deng's friend of more than five years and the man who spearheaded a social media campaign to find the 22-year-old--announced the news on Instagram.
"I am very happy to report that Ataui has been found. She is safe and sound. I want to thank all of our friends and followers and especially the NYPD for their swift and dedicated response. #FoundAtaui. Thanks again and much love," Ali wrote shortly before 11 p.m. on Monday.
