Mitt Romney, Alleged 'Vulture Capitalist,' Gives Woman $50
Mitt Romney, Republican presidential frontrunner, has been called a "vulture capitalist," but recently gave an unemployed supporter at least $50 -- maybe even $60 -- according to the Spanish-language daily.
Romney met a woman named Ruth Williams, 55, on the campaign trail, El Diario reports. Williams told Romney that she lost her job in October and since had trouble paying bills.
Romney, a millionaire many times over, then gave the woman cash, sources indicate.
After his victory in the Iowa caucuses and the New Hampshire primary, at least five of Romney's opponent have criticized him for making his fortune by acquiring and reorganizing failing businesses.
