MTA Messing With a Lot of Subway Lines This Weekend
If you take the 1, A, F, or E trains, everything will be all fucked up all weekend. Sorry! A roundup:
- Manhattan-bound A trains will be running on the F line from Jay Street-Metro Tech to West 4th. So they're skipping High Street, Chambers Street, Canal Street and Spring Street, I guess. If you live off of one of those stops, sucks!
- And then they'll run on the local track to 59th Street, through 5 a.m. on Monday.
- Uptown 1 trains are skipping 50th Street, 59th Street-Columbus Circle and 66th Street. Suckers.
- "E trains are running on the F line between Roosevelt Avenue and 34th Street-Sixth Avenue. The platforms at Fifth Avenue-53rd Street, Lexington Avenue-53rd Street, and 23rd Street-Ely Avenue are closed."
Try staying with someone who lives off a line that the MTA is not servicing this weekend. Hey! Stay with me. I live off the L. I have a nice couch.
