Muammar el Qaddafi's Finest Fashions
Colonel Muammar el Qaddafi just spoke on Libyan state television for over an hour and said that he would die in Libya as a martyr. He promised to make unspecified small changes to the government ("constitutional reform") but said that he wouldn't consider stepping down. Amidst all of the chaos, he urged his supporters to defend him: "Come out of your homes, attack them in their dens. Withdraw your children from the streets. They are drugging your children, they are making your children drunk and sending them to hell." He also threatened protesters when he said, "Anyone who undermines the sovereignty of the state will be punished by death." This probably wasn't the best strategy for an embattled dictator; he should've just shown off some of his sweet outfits, because he has many.
This purple number is pretty stunning. Is that also a purple tint we see in those specs? It may be little too matchy-matchy for us, but we love the effort! Who says Qaddafi isn't forward thinking? That eyewear innovation is astounding!
Classic summer wear from from the colonel here. White pants are obviously the beach standard we've all been waiting to see him wear. But where is Fonzworth Bentley with the umbrella? Those guys in the back need a serious lesson.
Look at this vintage outfit a young Qaddafi is wearing. Excuse us while we gawk at how hot Qaddafi used to be! Lady Gaga would go crazy for this military inspired outfit. (Is it military inspired if he's actually from the military?)
Qaddafi is a huge fan of patterns as you can see in this one. Obama only ventures as far as the classic suit, but Qaddafi always dares to go for more than a little splash of color in his outfits. The Jheri curl needs a little work though.

This outfit is by far our favorite. The military badges he's rocking definitely complete the outfit. And just look at those glasses! He totally borrowed them from Kim Kardashian. Qaddafi looks like the hippest retiree in Miami beach with his Don Johnson white blazer. Let's hope he steps down soon so that he can wear this outfit in the appropriate setting.
