On the morning of September 12, the New York City Ballet released a gorgeous video of two of its dancers performing on the 57th floor of Four World Trade Center, against the backdrop of the nearly complete Freedom Tower. Performing an excerpt of Christopher Wheeldon's "After the Rain" pas de deux, Maria Kowroski and Ask la Cour dance against a new dawn, intentional symbolism--and some savvy marketing--from the ballet company.
"It is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit, and a tribute to the future of the city that New York City Ballet calls home," reads the video description. Check out the full video after the jump.
