At E. 188th Street and Webster Avenue in The Bronx, traffic agent Donnette Sanz, seven months pregnant, was hit by a van, then by a bus. She was pronounced dead and her baby removed by emergency C-section at St. Barnabas Hospital. Her son, Benjamin, weighs three pounds, six ounces, and is in critical condition at this writing. A Bronx man has been arrested for sexual assault on four children. Nathaniel Brady of Walton Street allegedly presented himself to parents and children as a "member of the clergy." [ABC7]
Brooklyn's Kimberly Centos is charged with endangering the welfare of a child. Michael Jimemez is charged with murder. Police found their daughter Ginelis "unconscious and unresponsive" in their MacDougal Street home, with "liver and intestinal lacerations, a contusion to her lungs and rib fractures," according to the ME. She was pronounced dead this morning at Montefiore Hospital, three years of age and weighing 24 pounds. [MSNBC]
