NYPD Quote of the Day: "You Don't Need to Take That Report"
Graham Rayman's "The NYPD Tapes: Inside Bed-Stuy's 81st Precinct" chronicles hundreds of recorded hours of cops talking about their jobs between June 1, 2008, and October 31, 2009.

"Make sure we're notified on any majors, robberies and stuff like that. Make sure you bring the complainant/victim back to the squad. If the CV wants to make a report of a robbery, but they don't want to help us out, look through photos, you don't need to take that report."
