Occupy Wall Street: (Buckets Of) Shit Happens at Downtown ATM. Occupiers Blamed *VIDEO*
A Philadelphia man was arrested on Friday after police say he dumped buckets of feces and urine at two separate downtown locations -- the stairs of an open-air plaza, and inside an ATM vestibule.
The good news is we've got video of each dumping, which you can see after the jump.
The NYPD is crediting the dumpings to members of the Occupy Wall Street movement, who -- as you may have heard -- have been protesting in lower Manhattan since September.
According to the NYPD, about 8 p.m. on March 14, "Occupy Wall Street demonstrators" were seen dragging large buckets of feces and urine near an open-air plaza at the corner of Nassau and Cedar streets. The alleged occupiers then dumped out the buckets down the stairs of the outdoor plaza.
About 20 minutes later, one of the suspects went into a Chase ATM vestibule on Water Street. Like on the stairs of the plaza, the suspect dumped out a huge bucket of feces and urine inside of the vestibule.
A witness caught the license plate of a van the suspects used to transport the large tubs of human waste. The van is registered to 25-year-old Jordan Brooks Amos, of Philadelphia. He was arrested on March 16, and has been charged with one count each of unlawful possession of noxious matter (the legal term for piss and shit), and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
According to the cops, a stun-gun also was found inside of Amos' van.
How police linked the suspect to the Occupy movement is unclear -- an NYPD spokesman is checking into that for us.
Organizers of the Occupy movement didn't immediately respond to our request for comment.
We'll let you know when we find out more. Meantime, without further ado, watch the video below and see alleged "occupiers" dumping out buckets of feces and urine.
