PATH Stations Will Be Closed for The Next Two Weekends For Post-Sandy Repairs
Sorry, tunnel people. If you were hoping to escape the doldrums of central Jersey this weekend or next, you'll have to find another way to get into Manhattan. There will be no service between Exchange Place and World Trade Center PATH stations between Friday night and early Monday morning over the next two weekends.
The closure of the two stations comes because there is still corrosive salt in the tunnel system from the Sandy storm surge.
Port Authority is compensating for the lost service with more trains running between Hoboken and 33rd Street.
For up-to-date information on the closures and repairs, go to the Port Authority website.
