PHOTO OF THE DAY: Making Like a Tree Outside Upper West Side Whole Foods
A tipster sent us this photo of an elaborately adorned person/tree hanging out on the Upper West Side.* Said tipster writes:
"Saw him yesterday walking down 106th, near Broadway, while at gym. Probably 8-9' tall on stilts, had to duck under deck scaffolding and was agile in doing so. Saw again today outside Whole Foods at 97th and Columbus. Saying something about trees. Struck me as more activist than seller, but I would not know how to predict his travels...."
You are beautiful, Tree Dude. It appears you have painted yourself with all the colors of the wind, and we hope to see more of you soon.
*An earlier version of this post misidentified the neighborhood.
