Police Have Released Photos of Brooklyn Sex Assault Suspect's Jacket
The police have released two photos of a jacket believed to be that of one of the suspects in the series of scary sexual assaults in Brooklyn since March. It's a pretty average-looking Champion jacket:
Police say the jacket belongs to a person of interest in a sexual assault pattern involving ten crimes since March, the most recent being the attack in Park Slope on September 21st.
Does this mean that the cops have narrowed down the number of suspects from a possible three (!) to just one? An officer at DCPI said "the investigation is still ongoing" and that there might be more info on that later.
Police also released a video of a person of interest in the attack on September 4th:
Not that easy to see anything at all.
It's nice that cops are throwing us a bone we don't know if this particular Champion jacket and blurry video are going to help matters much. The suspect is described as a white male or light-skinned Hispanic male about 28 years old.
If you do recognize the jacket, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or go to www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
