Police Seek Suspect in Brooklyn Sex Assault

The NYPD is seeking the public's assistance locating the second of two suspects wanted in connection with a sexual assault and rape that occurred in Brooklyn on Wednesday, June 2. The victim, a 19-year-old female, was walking at Linden Boulevard and Bedford Avenue at 2:00 a.m. when the first suspect, Rony Delmas, 20, grabbed her and forced her between 2 parked cars, where he sexually assaulted her. He then walked her several blocks to a secluded area on Parkside Avenue, where she was raped. The second suspect, now identified as Stephon Edwards, 20, pictured, arrived at the scene and also raped the victim.

Both suspects fled the scene, and the victim was treated at an area hospital.

Delmas has been arrested and charged with rape, a criminal sex act, and sexual abuse, and the police are seeking Edwards.
