Rabbi Yehuda Levin Answers Clarion Call to Blame Marrying Homos for the Earthquake
Yesterday, we and others wondered how long it would take for the usual suspects to blame the earthquake on New York's recent passage of same-sex marriage.
Turns out Rabbi Yehuda Levin was wondering the same thing, and answered: "Not very long at all."
"Cracks in the Washington Monument, broken spires on the National Cathedral, and stil many people scoff and ignore," Levin recalls in a video posted by Crooks & Liars about yesterday's tragic loss of life and property, in which he also manages to take a good swipe at Haiti.
An email went out in my community just a few hours ago: How long will it take Rabbi Yehuda Levin to tie this earthquake in with homosexual marriage? I'd like to answer that tonight. Not very long at all. I'm happy to see that people, even if some of them are scoffers, are starting to see the connection.
