Rapist Strikes in Astoria

He approached her from behind, pushed her to the ground and sexually assaulted her. She fought with him and he fled, taking her purse. She was treated at a local hospital and released. The guy is described as 5-7, 150-160 pounds, wearing a North Face-type windbreaker, dark pants, and dark sneakers.
Stop this scumbag before he strikes again. Tipsters can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or submit tips at nypdcrimestoppers.com or text info to 274637 (CRIMES), entering TIP577.
