Report: Strike End in Sight
Local media are reporting that Transit Workers Union Local 100 leaders are preparing to recommend to the union's executive board that the 33,000 workers on the picket lines end their strike in its third day. If the board were to approve the move, it would take the MTA several hours to get the transit system in gear.
