Reverend Billy Calls for "Zombergs" to Descend Upon Halloween Parade
Green Party candidate for Mayor Reverend Billy, perhaps emboldened by his recent endorsement by L magazine ("The city is not a corporation, democracy is not a product, and we are not mere consumers"), has unveiled our favorite campaign idea of the season so far: Zombies for Bloomberg. He's recruiting "dance team, float building and general zombergification" volunteers for his display in this year's Halloween Parade in the Village. Thematically, it fits. Our interviews with the candidate appear here and here; Only The Blog Knows Brooklyn reviews his recent Brooklyn Lyceum show.
