Rockefeller & Co. CEO an Apparent Suicide
James McDonald, CEO of New York-based investment company Rockefeller & Co. and a member of the boards of NYSE Euronext and, till recently, CIT Group, was found dead on Sunday of a single gunshot wound in car in in Dartmouth, Massachusetts, and is presumed a suicide.
McDonald was scheduled to appear this week at the Annual Conference of the Task Force on Financial Integrity and Economic Development in Washington. No word yet on why he did it.
