Samantha Frazier, Atlantic City Shooting Victim: "Love Handles Saved My Life"
Florida resident Samantha Lynn Frazier, 35, was visiting Atlantic City with family and walked into a bar for a drink. And then she got shot.
According to reports, Frazier was headed into local bar Herman's House with her cousin Kimberly Moore around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday after partying at Tropicana Casino Resort when she was popped in the side of her body.
Detective Lt. Charles Love says Frazier, a daycare center worker, was not the intended target. The gunman, he says, was aiming for a man, who ultimately escaped with a bullet hole in his down jacket.
Frazier told the press that she is now reconsidering dropping the pounds she had been hoping to lose. "I'd been hollering how I want to lose weight," she said. "I don't want to lose weight anymore. I want to be as big as I can if it's going to stop a bullet." Yep, that'll do it.
