Same-Sex Marriage Rally Thursday Evening
Supporters of same-sex marriage rights are planning rallies around New York State tonight, including one in New York City's Sheridan Square, at 6 p.m. More details at Gay City News.
The rallies come in response to a ruling from New York's highest court today that gay couples presently have no right to marriage but can seek that right from the state's (generally nonreceptive) legislature. And so the grassroots campaign begins.
