Sharply-Dressed Man in Business Suit Robs Midtown Bank With Aplomb
A man in a black business suit and crisp white dress shirt reportedly robbed a bank in Midtown yesterday. The suspect went inside the Capital One Bank on West 57th and passed the teller a note demanding money. The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of cash, after which the suspect left the bank and went into the subway station at 57th and 6th.
He's described as a black male between 40 and 45, 5'10"-6'0" in height, with medium to stocky build, mustache, and curly or wavy salt and pepper hair.
Pretty bold, right there in Midtown. If you have any information as to the identity of this nattily-dressed and seemingly rather suave bank robber, you should call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477), submit a tip by logging onto Crime Stoppers' website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or text CRIMES (274637), then enter TIP577.
