Sign Spinners at Five Guys
We had no idea this was a thing (Jay Leno noticed it some time ago, but he has people): guerilla advertisers are employing "sign spinners" to attract customers to places of business. AArrow Advertising, which employs the spinners shown touting Five Guys at West 55th Street above, requires applicants for this position to "pass through a week-long 'boot camp,' with six hours of sign-juggling instruction a day." As entry-level advertising jobs go, this one at least offers cardio-vascular benefits, though probably not health care.
