Somebody Got Murdered: Arrest in Bouncer Slaying

The police say they have made an arrest in the murder of an off-duty bouncer outside a club on the Lower East Side. Louis Rodriguez, 29, of East 117th Street, was charged with murder, assault and illegal weapons possession in connection with the murder of Eric Pagan.
Rodriguez, who previously did five years in prison for assault, opened fire outside the Forbidden City nightclub early Sunday after getting into a fight with patrons. Gunfire killed Pagan and wounded two other men.
