Somebody Got Murdered: Gang-Related Shooting in Brooklyn

DATE: Sunday, Aug. 23, 2009, 5:53 p.m.
LOCATION: Corner of Montgomery St and Rogers Ave., Brooklyn.
The police are saying that 25-year-old Manory Santos, of Crown Street in Brooklyn, was gunned down Sunday evening at the above corner. He was struck once in the chest. He was taken to Kings County Hospital where he was declared dead.
The Daily News reports that the police consider the shooting to be gang-related. Santos' rap sheet included arrests for marijuana possession.
