Somebody Got Murdered: Livery Driver Jaroslaw Bielawski, 62, Shot in Robbery

Late Friday, the police found a 62-year-old Brooklyn man shot inside a car in Long Island City. He was taken to Cornell Medical Center where he was declared dead. The dead man was identified as Jaroslaw Bielawski of Java Street.

The New York Post reported that Bielawski was a livery cab driver, and the car had crashed near his dispatcher's office, suggesting that the victim was robbed by his passengers. Two men reportedly fled the scene.
