Somebody Got Murdered: Stabbing in Jamaica (Updated)

TIME: Saturday afternoon at about 1:26 p.m.
Police responded to a report today that an argument between two men had escalated to a knifing. They found a 40-year-old black male with a stab wound to the torso. The victim, identified as Adeyemi King, was transported to Jamaica Hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.
UPDATE: Police have charged Michael Thompson, a 42-year-old black Queens resident, with manslaughter.
Turns out that Thompson and King were related through marriage. The Daily News reported that the two men had been feuding for a long time. Thompson, the newspaper says, intervened in a spat between King and his wife, and got stabbed in the chest for his troubles.
