Somebody Got Murdered: Two Shot, One Dead, in Brooklyn

DATE: Saturday, Aug. 15, 2009, at 2:16 a.m.
LOCATION: 436 Atkins Ave., Brooklyn.
The police say two men were shot at 436 Atkins Ave. in the East New York section of Brooklyn early Saturday. One of the victims, a male, 21, was shot in the head and torso, and was declared dead at the scene. The second victim, also a male, 21, was struck in the groin. He was taken to Brookdale Hospital and listed in stable condition. The police still haven't released the identity of the slain man.
