Student Near-Porn Briefly Titillates Tabloid Readers

The fine softcore tradition of the sexy co-ed lives on in today's New York Post, which drools over C-Spot, a Columbia student magazine full of racy stories and photos. Students pose "using props like preppy scarves and books to hide their naughty bits." There's a "graphic description" of some poor girl's "rough sex with Wall Street guys who choke her with their 'expensive ties.'" Eww, how erotic! Finally the Post admits what we all vaguely remember: "Harvard, the University of Chicago, Boston University, and Vassar all have student-run mags focusing on sex." Adding to the turn-off: C-Spot is looking for "critical essayists to examine how the Internet has directly and indirectly influenced our sexuality." God, why? Doesn't this really say it all?
