Subway Hero/Actor Honored by City Council
Chad Lindsey, the actor who pulled a man off the subway tracks last week and received for his heroism a story in the Times, a feature in Playbill, teasing from Gawker and New York, a spot on Rachel Maddow, and plaudits from the folks back home, will be honored today on the floor of the city council by speaker Christine Quinn and councilmember Eric Gioia. Here is a picture of Lindsey in Kaspar Hauser: a foundling's opera, now playing at The Flea on White Street. Tickets still available!
