Target of "Skank" Site Wins Right to Blogger's Name
Back in January model Liskula Cohen noticed she had been defamed as a skank on the now-defunct Skanks in NYC web site. She sued and managed to get the site yanked, but was determined to seek further justice. She sued to get the name of the site's anonymous proprietor from Google. which runs Blogger, which hosted the site, so she could sue him. Yesterday Cohen won the support of Judge Joan Madden, who said that assertions that Cohen was "lying," "whoring," and a "ho," made in proximity to photos of her looking sexy, "carry a negative implication of sexual promiscuity," which give grounds for a defamation suit. "All I can say for this person is, I really truly hope that they have more in their life than this," Cohen tells the Post. Well, now he will, anyway.
