Tell Us About Your Best of NYC in Our Best of NYC® Readers' Poll
Pardon the interruption from our regular stream of news stories, but we wanted to tell you we've just opened up our annual Best of NYC® Readers' Poll for 2014.
And this year we're doing something a little different by offering readers a chance to be in the Voice. Details below:
For this fall's annual Village Voice Best of NYC® issue, we're cooking up a twist on the ol' D.I.Y.: a little something we like to call Do It YourSelfie.
And we do mean YourSelfie.
Want to be in the Village Voice? Take a selfie in front of your pick for the Best _______ in New York City and share it with @VillageVoice on Instagram or Twitter with the hashtag #BONYC. If we pick your entry for publication in the issue, you'll win newsprint fame, internet immortality, and a fab prize! (Submitting a photo implies consent to use it in print and/or online.)
In our October 15 issue, we'll reveal our favorites in 400 Best of NYC® categories. In the meantime, we want your take on many of those very topics.
Our Best of NYC® Readers' Poll is your opportunity to share your opinions on what makes this city the best in the world. Be it the best jazz club, the best joint for pizza by the slice, the best gay bar, or the best Yankees player (to name but a few), we're hereby seeking your nominations!
Here's how it works:
Start filling in your ballot now at readerschoice.villagevoice.com. Save it, come back as many times as you like, and tweak your picks until the deadline. The nominating round ends September 3 (partially completed ballots will be submitted as they are). Finalists will be announced September 10 and you'll be able to vote for the winners through early October.
So what are you waiting for? Vote in our Best of NYC® Readers' Poll for 2014 right now!
And you can always see what won last year over at villagevoice.com/bestof
