Things to do on Tuesday for completely free
Which, you know, not to be a hopeless politics geek about it, but I went before work at seven this past voting day, and my husband went after work at five, and there were 20 people between us. That's kind of embarrassing.
So please, vote. Things being what they are, it truly doesn't take much time, and it really does matter.
In NY (polls are open from 6 am to 9 pm), call 1-866-VOTE-NYC (1-866-868-3692), or go to http://gis.nyc.gov/vote/ps/index.htm to find your polling place.
In NJ (polls are open from 6 am to 8 pm), call 1-877-NJ-VOTER (1-877-658-6837), or go to www.njelections.org
Whatever side you're on, the person you most don't like in whatever race affects you is hoping you don't show up.
Srsly, piss them off. Vote.
