This Is A Video Of A Greek Politician Slapping A Woman In The Face On National Television
Ain't America great? The freedom, the liberty -- and the fact that our politicians don't typically slap women in the face on national television -- are just a few of the things that make us proud to be living in the U.S. of A.
The same cannot be said for Greece, where a member of the country's far-right-wing Golden Dawn party slapped a communist female politician in the face three times -- and that was only after he threw water in the face of another woman.

The scene went down on a Greek political talk show this morning. The discussion -- according to translators for the Associated Press -- was about Greece's natural resources. It quickly shifted to an argument about the political history of the country, which includes a violent civil war between communists and far-right-wingers following World War II.
At one point, Golden Dawn party member Ilias Kasidiaris shouted "you old Commie" at 58-year-old Communist Party member Liana Kanelli. She responded by calling him a fascist.
Following the name-calling, "radical left-wing" Syriza party member Rena Dourou said there is a "crisis of democracy when people who will take the country back 500 years have got into the Greek parliament."
That was about all Kasidiaris could take -- he took a full glass of water and threw it in Douro's face from across the table. Then he stood up and slapped Kanelli three times.
According to the AP, a warrant has been issued for Kasidaiaris' arrest. Fox News reports that Kasidairis claims the incident didn't happen, and the video of the assault was doctored by the media -- which, obviously, is bullshit.
