Times Fake Outdone By Fake Spokesman
Yeah, the New York Times parody by the Yes Men (announcing, among other wishful thoughts, the end of the Iraq War and the retirement of Thomas Friedman) is pretty sweet, but we were especially impressed with the Yes Men spokesman who told the Guardian his name was "Wilfred Sassoon," a conflation of names from two famous, anti-war poets of WWI. "Sassoon" told the Guardian the group wanted to "get people to exercise their imaginations."
