Tommy Gomez, Queens 19-Year-Old, Sought In Attempted Murder
Cops are asking for the public's help in finding Tommy Gomez, a 19-year-old from Queens who is suspected of shooting a 17-year-old in the stomach on September 9. The shooting happened shortly after 11 p.m. on Bleecker Street and Cypress Avenue in Ridgewood. Gomez and four other men all approached the victim and Gomez took out a gun and shot him one time in the stomach, then fled into an apartment building at 1703 Himrod Street. The four accomplices were all arrested but Gomez remains at large.
The victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Gomez's Facebook profile lists his favorite quotation as "Girl's just like buses. Miss one in the next 15 one cominqq" and his interests, ironically, as "Criminal Justice."
