U2: Bloomberg's All That New York Can't Leave Behind
Mayor Mike Bloomberg just picked up a hell of an endorsement in his re-election bid -- from U2. The mayor was on hand for last night's U2 show at Giants Stadium, and Bono not only gave him a shout out but praised him as "a fellow combatant in the fight against extreme poverty."
Mayor Mike managed to bypass the nightmarish commute that most other fans endured traveling to and from the Meadowlands, but on the other hand everyone else who went to the show didn't wind up accidentally landing their helicopters in the parking lot of the stadium instead of on the helipad.
