Update: Police Sketch Released in Riverside Jogger Attack
Earlier today, we reported that the NYPD is looking for witnesses to a July 5 robbery and assault in Riverside Park; now, a police sketch of the suspect has been released. The victim, a 19-year-old woman, was jogging near the tennis courts at West 120th Street when her assailant pushed her into a wall -- causing her to strike her head and lose consciousness -- and stole her iPod. She was found unconscious and treated at St. Luke's Hospital for bleeding from the brain, a fractured cheekbone, and lacerations to her face, head, and neck. If you recognize this man or have any information, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
