Update: Van-Dragged Man ID'd
NY1 reports that the man who was fatally dragged by a minivan from Corona to Coney yesterday has been identified as Guido Salvador Carabajo-Jara. He was struck by a different vehicle at 108th Street and 51st Avenue yesterday morning, and as the driver was reporting the accident the minivan driver, Lituma Sanchez, came by and unconsciously picked Carabajo-Jara up for his last tour of the city. The victim, a native of Ecuador, was reportedly crossing against the light when he was struck. The length of his journey has been upgraded from 17 to 20 miles, and no charges are planned against the drivers. Photo (cc) gmeurope.
