Web Thing Wants Your Ideas to Improve New York
There's a thing out of the Kindling "Idea Management and Collaboration" company called the Better Project that "connects people who are interested in initiating change." They've set up a BP for New York. They haven't got much yet ("Stop vendors from blocking narrow sidewalks [especially during rush hour]" is the current top vote-getter, with 11; one guy wants longer, more entertaining programs on taxi TV screens), so we helped them out with our Screening Process for Prospective New Yorkers. We thought about suggesting targets for deportation and assassination as well, but we didn't want to be greedy and are in enough trouble as it is. If you have a minute why don't you give them your ideas? The screening process seems to allow pseudonyms. Photo (cc) kevindooley.
