It's Xmas, but don't let that get you down. Adam Dugas's annual Chaos & Candy extravaganza will help you see this time of year in a more positive light. In the past, the event has featured a fantastically silly snowflake pyramid that collapses; performances from Fischerspooner's Casey Spooner, Lizzy Yoder, and Peanut; a naked girl or two; and a petting zoo, with fully grown adults dressed in furry costumes crawling around on all fours. You can feed them if that's your kind of thing. This year's theme is "The Royal Court of Christmas" and comes with an extra-special stocking stufferJason Sellards, a/k/a Jake Shears of the Scissor Sisters. Wednesday @ 8, Deitch Projects, 110 N 1st St, Bklyn, 212.343.7300
Will someone explain to the shiksa what the deal is with Jews and Chinese food on Xmas? If you don't celebrate the day or are just sitting this one out, you can Get Your Jew On with some burlesque performances, comedy, and yes, the requisite Chinese food. With Jeff Perlman and friends. Friday @ 7 p.m., Galapagos, 70 N 6th St, Bklyn, 718.782.5188
The night before the night before Xmas, the Masters at Work posse is throwing a party, with MAW, Jazzy Jeff, Onsunlade, and Frankie Feliciano throwing down the tunes. The MAW will also perform live with a special guest, none other than Vikter Duplaix. Thursday @ 10, Deep, 16 W 22nd, 212.229.2000
