Year of Living Dangerously
Nineteen ninety-nine not only holds the countdown to the millennium, but also the strange fate of Bubba Bill. Whats your resolution?
Resides:: East Village
Occupation: Graphic Artist
On a scale of 1 to 10, rate 1998. Nineteen ninety-eight sucked for me. It was like a 1 or a 2. The whole job situation, going from one job to another, never really getting any satisfaction. I broke up with my girlfriend.
Resolutions for 1999? To make more money. And try to get more into my art and my spiritual side.
What will happen to the Prez in 1999? I really love Clinton. The coolest president since I've been in this country. Man, he smoked weed. I'd love for him to stay.

Resides:: Los Angeles, California
Occupation: Software engineer
On a scale of 1 to 10, rate 1998. I'd say about a 6. I got involved in a new company, so that's good. It's more exciting. What's not so good is that since the company's so new, we're not making any real salary yet.
Resolutions for 1999? Emphasize on planning more. Be more creative.
What will happen to the Prez in 1999? He'll survive the impeachment. They won't have the guts to go through with it.
Resides:: East Bronx
On a scale of 1 to 10, rate 1998. About a 5. I met my girl this year, that was good. I got some work, even though I didn't stay long. But I had lot of fights with the family. It was financial.
Resolutions for 1999? Clean up my act. Get back into school. Get a job. Quit smoking. Keep my cool.
What will happen to the Prez in 1999? He's a good president. They should keep him. You know who I don't like, the mayor. They should boot him.
| Abdul Rahman |
Resides:: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
On a scale of 1 to 10, rate 1998. Overall, an 8. It's mostly economical. I worked a lot. Bad stuff? Relationships could have been better.
Resolutions for 1999? I hope to develop myself more artistically.
What will happen to the Prez in 1999? I don't think he'll be removed. The people don't want it and the politicians will worry about their own careers. Personally, I'd like to see him out. I don't care for his foreign policies. And I was offended that he lied.
Resides:: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
On a scale of 1 to 10, rate 1998. I'd have to say a 7. My health was good. But I didn't get to move into my dream house. I held off for my fiancé. He's from New Jersey and he wanted us to find a place in between.
Resolutions for 1999? Move into my dream house and be married.
What will happen to the Prez in 1999? I feel very sad about that. I want him to stay in office. But they should still do something to him to set a good example.

Resides:: Northeast Vermont
On a scale of 1 to 10, rate 1998. It was a 6. I found a place to live and I got a good job. But I found the cabin of my dreams and had to give it to my girlfriend because I didn't want to live with her anymore.
Resolutions for 1999? Find some musicians to play with. And start becoming more disciplined in wilderness awareness.
What will happen to the Prez in 1999? I couldn't care less.
Resides:: Mexico City, Mexico
On a scale of 1 to 10, rate 1998. Probably about a 9. I got a very good job. I worked on the merger between Chrysler and Daimler. I was proud to be part of it.
Resolutions for 1999? To be happy.
What will happen to the Prez in 1999? Hopefully, he'll remain till the end of his term. He's good for the civility and the stability of the country. And that, in turn, is good for NAFTA.
