That safe opens with the passcode the hotel gives you, and also with a string of zeroes -- the default code. If you don't know, potential thieves, now you know. It is pretty scary to think that the hotel safe is where people leave things like their passports, their jewelry, etc., and here it is, waiting to be opened by anyone who has watched that video. Although you shouldn't bring your jewelry around with you while traveling anyway. Are you trying to get robbed?
