The powerful margaritas—some engagingly seasoned with hot chiles—are the obvious lure of this hideaway, but the food might make you return again and again. The appetizer of three reworked guacs is way better than it has any right to be, and I'm still smacking my lips for the Baja fish tacos that I downed afterward. Served with delicious homemade crackers, the ceviches are good too, but not nearly as memorable and unusual as the stuffed cactus leaves. The hokey and serene Mexican Village decor of the high-ceilinged back room is another plus.
