God bless The L Magazine, those fine folks who put their heads together and figured out exactly what New York City needed—another music festival. OK, so Williamsburg’s Northside Festival may be a bit unnecessary, but that doesn’t mean we’re looking past a Thursday lineup that includes Kim Gordon’s Body/Head at Saint Vitus, post-punk survivors Swans at Warsaw, indie darlings Twin Sister at 285 Kent, Copenhagen rockers Iceage at Music Hall of Williamsburg, and a slew of upcoming punk bands at Godmode Records’ Muchmore’s showcase.
