You’ll get your chance today when Mexican choreographer Ofelia Loret de Mola brings her carnivalesque spectacle Available Space to the streets of downtown, inviting spectators to march—or dance—right alongside her performance troupe, Danscores. Kicking off in City Hall Park, the piece—jointly inspired by the game of chess and the cheap razzle-dazzle of a Mexican circus—features jugglers, acrobats, tightrope walkers, and a bearded lady performing among and atop the park’s chess tables.
