The long running chat show Theater Talk has put out a fundraising card that has me and fellow scribes Jesse Green and Patrick Pacheco dressed right out of the Broadway musical Newsies as we're assigned various saying about "papes" and "palaver."

Tonight at 1 A.M. on Channel 13, the long-running Theater Talk presents its usual array of experts offering educated guesses as to who'll cop the Tony awards on June 10. Jesse Green (New York magazine), Patrick Pacheco (LA Times, NY 1), and I offer our picks as to whether it'll be:
Whenever I see a TV camera approaching, my face lights up like a Halloween pumpkin and all the hanging skin inflates like a Thanksgiving Day float based on a long-running animated character. I basically become a holiday parade float of a giant, gay, papier-mâché suckerfish.
Isn't it a theatrical experience unto itself? And beyond that, Patrick Pacheco (NY 1, L.A. Times), Jesse Green (New York magazine), and I offer sparklingly dramatic and in fact award-worthy comments about last Sunday's Tony Awards telecast, the best one in ages.
